Joseph E. Kempton of Dracut, MA

 

5652 KemptonJoseph E. Kempton, 71, of Dracut, Ma died Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Lowell General Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Lowell, MA on Feb. 15, 1944, he was a son of the late Elmer and Josephine (Sheehan) Kempton. A graduate of Dracut High School, he lived most of his life in Dracut.

Joe worked as a carpenter for many years in the Lowell area.

He is survived by his sister in-law, Irene Kempton of Tyngsboro; two nieces, Cheryl Kellmer of Happy Valley, OR and Robin Fournier of Pepperell, MA; two nephews, Thomas Kempton of Robinson, TX and Scott Kempton of Pelham, NH and many great nieces and nephews and his former sister in-law Joyce Loughran of Happy Valley, OR. He was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, Deane and John Kempton.

Visiting hours Tues. 4 to 8 P.M. Funeral Wed. at 8:00 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD with a Funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. at Ste. Marguerite d'Youville Church 1340 Lakeview Ave. Dracut, MA. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
