    Dear Joanne, Claudine, Brenda,

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mother, Mary. Our Mom, Betty Volis worked with Mary at the Lowell Lingerie. Your Mom was a beautiful, kind person. Mom often talked about the Lowell Lingerie and what a wonderful supervisor your Mom was. She would tell us of the many jokes & laughter Mary & Mom shared on the job. They remained friends for many years after their retirement. Our prayers are with all of you.

Thank you so much for your kind words. My Mom spoke so highly of Betty, she considered her a good friend. I recall the cards she sent to let my Mom she was thinking of her. Thank you both for thinking of us.

  2. Lisa Williams says:

Claudine, Joanne and Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother, Mary. Her picture is lovely and exactly what I remember her to look like in my fond memories of her. Wonderful times in CT and Lowel with my grandparents (Aunt Angie and Uncle Joe) and my dear mother, Anita. As strange as this may sound, when I was viewing this page, I immediately thought, I have to show my mother this… but realizing, she already knows. I know how hard this can be, losing someone you love so much but lettting them go especially after living such a full life and knowing that they are truly in a better place and with ones they love provides much comfort at this difficult time. I don’t know that I will get there, but wanted to tell you on behalf of my mother, Anita, and our entire family, that we will be thinking of all of you and sending our prayers. Hope to see each other soon. God Bless, Anita’s middle daughter, Lisa Williams. XO

    • Brenda D'Amour says:

      Dear Lisa,
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We all have fond memories of our week-ends in Connecticut. Thinking of that makes us all smile. I hope you and your family are well.
