Maureen A. (Renaud) Richards, 65, of McKinney, TX; formerly of Lowell, MA; passed away peacefully following a short illness on Monday, December 28, 2015 in Dallas, TX with her family by her side.

She was married to Randy J. Richards with whom she celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on July 29, 2015.

Born in Lowell, MA, Maureen was the daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte Renaud. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1968 and earned a BA Cum Laude in Sociology from Lowell State College.

Maureen worked in the fashion retail industry for many years and previously served as a manager at the Image Salon located in Chelmsford, MA.

She was an active member of the Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano, TX where she and her husband Randy taught Sunday school together.

Maureen enjoyed traveling, cruising, reading, skiing, riding her bike, and opening her home to family and friends.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Ryan Levasseur of Boston, MA and Adam Richards of McKinney, TX; daughter Nicole Wagy (Levasseur) and her husband Clay Wagy of Albuquerque, NM; three brothers, Ronald Renaud and his wife, Mina of Irvine, CA; Donald “Butch” Renaud of Tyngsboro, MA and Patrick Renaud and his wife, Nancy of Lowell, MA; sister Cheryl Conlin of Lowell, MA; grandchildren Evan and Landon Wagy, along with many nieces and nephews.
