Robert Greenhalge of Lowell, MA


Mr.Robert Greenhalge Sr, 84, a lifelong resident of Lowell, MA died Monday, November 6, at Lowell General Hospital. He was married to the late Rose Greenhalge, who died on November 8, 2014. They were married for sixty-two years. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Thomas and Emma Greenhalge. He attended Lowell public schools. He retired in 2002, after 45 years as the owner of Bay State Paving Co, of Lowell MA. He is survived by a son, Robert Greenhalge Jr. and his wife, Linda of Lowell; two daughters, Debra and her husband, Allen Lewis of Chelmsford, and Kim and her husband, Stephen Tardiff of Westford. He was a loving grandfather of four, and great grandfather of eight; two brothers, Jack Greenhalge and Gerald Greenhalge and his wife Eleanor of Lowell; one sister, Mary Libera of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Albert (Sonny) Greenhalge, and two sisters, Alice Ward, and Phyllis Lutkus; two grandchildren Lorrie Ann Lewis and Timothy M. Lewis all of Lowell.
