Rom Thong of Lowell
Rom Thong, 67, of Lowell, MA died Monday, December 3, 2018.
Born in Takeo, Cambodia, where he was educated, then came to the
United States in 1982. He became a US citizen in 2005.
He retired from the manufacturing industry as a machine operator in 2016.
He was a member of the Glory Buddhist Temple in Lowell, MA.
He enjoyed fishing and shopping but most of all he loved spending
time with his family and grandchildren.
Besides his companion Christine Lamuth of Lowell, he is survived by
his sons, Vinny Kosal Duch and his wife, Rady Bo of Lowell, and
Chhaylee Thong with his companion Vy Kong of Lowell; daughters Rachel Duch of Lowell, Sokha Thong
and her husband, Chek Roum of Lowell; grandchildren, Rina Chan, Lina
Chan, Mollica Chea, Molyka Thong, and Jaydyn Thong.
