Tyler Colleton of Westford


5733 ColletonTyler James Colleton, 21, of Westford, MA passed away on February 18, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital.

Born in Worcester, MA on September 22, 1994 he was the son of Christopher Colleton and Dawn Trask. He was raised in Westford, MA and attended Nashoba Tech. He worked for Advanced Gunite Pools. Tyler was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and dirt bike riding.

Besides his parents he is survived by his infant son Mitchell, his companion Blair and her daughter Jordyn, age 1, his brothers; Patrick of Sterling MA, Cody of Billerica MA, Cameron and Jesse of Westford, MA; his maternal grandmother, Diane Westberg and her husband Douglas of Westford, MA, his paternal grandfather, Francis Colleton of Port Richie, FL and many aunts, uncles, cousins,  and friends.      He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather the late James Trask of Fitchburg, MA and his paternal grandmother the late Erica Colleton of Port Richie, FL.

Visiting hours Tuesday 4pm to 7pm. Funeral on Wednesday at 11am at the Dolan Funeral Home 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford, MA.

      Thank you Amy you’ll always be my bestie the most amazing times shared with Tyler and memories all the laughing joking around things will never be the same I miss his voice ,his laugh,his hugs,his arm around me,his smell ,joking around,all the prankster things he do I miss him so badly tighten every knobs ,caps and covers in my house drove me crazy lol.. I wasn’t allowed to move ,touch,or do anything without his approval or unless he was there he was always there he made sure he always took care of me made sure I was ok no one messed with me or they had to deal with Tyler lol things we will never forget but in the end he knew where he be safe he knew to come home to me that I will always be greatful he knew where to come. I miss him so much

    We are so shocked and saddened by Tyler’s passing. The Tyler that I knew was a smiling, easy to get along with cub scout from Pack 95. It feels like yesterday that we pulled into the driveway to drop him off after scouts, and he would go running in to the house. I can’t imagine the pain that you are all in, and our thoughts continue to be with you throughout this incredibly difficult time.

      We are so heartbroken our lives will never be the same . MY Son Tyler brought so much joy and happiness to our lives. My Son Tyler was an incredible amazing human being with incredible compassion,kindness,love,care and respect a a source of strength and dependability who touch so many people’s hearts and was very much loved he was the light for so many people who had difficulty getting through had times the shoulder to cry on and the insane bear squeezing hugs he give to you couldn’t breathe the voice of reason for so many people I will always miss our special talks,laughing,joking,pulling pranks on me,jumping out of spaces in the house scaring the daylights out of me sometimes with hot coffee in my hands and sharing our love of the outdoors camping ,fishing,hiking my flower gardens he make for me every year in the spring All the house repairs he make for me raking leaves ,shoveling snow ,mowing my grass he was always there and I never have to ask him to do it Tyler was just always there to help and make sure his mom a was taken care of even when i was injured or sick and now it will never be the same without Tyler .I’m just not ready to put my son into the ground on Wednesday he’s way to young and just starting a family of his own. He was the most incredible man to his own kid’s who he spoiled and they were his life like Tyler was my life my Son was loved and we will never be the same.
