Brian Joseph Muscato of Tyngsboro
He was married to Charlene R. (Lafferty) Muscato with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on October 6th.
Born in Concord, MA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Bridget (Funchion) Muscato. He graduated from Concord Carlisle High School with the class of 1966.
He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.
He worked for General Motors, Anchor Motor Freight, in Framingham, MA until its closure and began employment at Lynch Paint Center where he proudly managed the Lowell Store. He will best be remembered for his culinary talents and family run catering business.
He was an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church and served several ministries. He was a former member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks and past President of the Lowell Lions Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Ruocco Council and Bishop Delaney 4th degree Assembly. He was passionate about his family along with hosting and entertaining friends. Brian enjoyed the beach, cooking, traveling, and watching his beloved Boston sports; most notably, the Patriots and Red Sox.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Matthew and his wife, Patricia (DeFrietas) Muscato of Clovis, CA, Lt Col (USAF) Shane and his wife, Jennifer (Phillips) Muscato of Mary Esther, FL; Daughter, Meaghan Muscato of Tyngsboro; Sisters, Rosemary McCormick of Sonoma, CA, Colleen and her husband Steve Zarach of Leominster, MA; Brother-in-law, Richard Hylen of Brunswick, ME; Sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Lou Lafferty, OSF of Allegany, NY; He was the beloved Puppa of his six grandchildren, Molly, Emma, Abigail, and Casey Muscato, Owen and Liam Chapman; additionally, Brian had many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Valentine Muscato and sister Gloria Hylen. The family would like to thank Circle Home Health and Hospice for the care provided, especially his nurse Monica.
Visiting hours Friday 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Saturday at 10 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD,with a funeral Mass at 11 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church.
