Leang Kroeung, 82 of Lowell, MA died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA surrounded by his wife and children.
He was married to Muy Ea with whom he would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this October.
Born in Kandal, Cambodia on October 5, 1938 the son of the late Lai Hourt and Eav Sok.
He came to the United States in September 1985 and became a US Citizen in September 2005.
Leang worked at area restaurants in Burlington, VT.
He was a member of the First United Baptist Church in Lowell, MA.
Leang was a great craftsman, enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with all his grandchildren. During his free time he enjoyed watching boxing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Kimleng Kroeung and Paula of Lowell, MA, his daughters Neang Diep and Nhut of Lowell, MA, Hing Kroeung and Eh Chhoeun of Nashua, NH, Kimrine Corbin and Andrew of Lowell, MA and Kimberly Kroeung and Ricky Xavapy of Milford, NH, and 15 grandchildren.
