Saren Va of Haverhill, MA

Saren Va, 90, of Haverhill, MA died Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was married to the late Phan Men who died in 1975,

She was born in Kampong Cham, Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Chhay My and Van Kan.

Saren came to the United States in December of 2004.  She proudly became a United States Citizen in 2014.

She was an active member of Glory Buddhist Temple

She enjoyed the simple things in life like gardening and cooking, but above all else she really enjoyed spending time with her large family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons: Pharinn Men and his wife So Phaly of Haverhill, MA, Sokhen Men and his wife Hour Ly of Phnam, Penh, and Borak Men and his wife Mom Men of Battambang.  She also is survived by her brothers Ty Chhay of Kampong, Cham and Bunthoeun Chhay also of Kampong, Cham; as well as her 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Phana Men, Sokha Men, Sokhom Men, Sokhon Men and Sampheas Men.
