Frederick J. Cronin, 87, of Westford, MA, passed away on June 16, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. He was married to the late Lorraine (Coutu) Cronin, the love of his life whom he shared 59 years of marriage with until her passing in May of 2020.
Born in Lowell, MA he was the beloved son of the late William J. Cronin and Jennie (Greenwood) Cronin.

Fred was a dedicated father and husband and had a wonderful life raising his three daughters with Lorraine. They enjoyed vacationing at Lake Winnipesaukee, going on various trips with family and friends, including annual trips to Las Vegas and Aruba, and spending time with their granddaughter, Juliette.
Always an avid sports fan, he will be cheering on the Boston sports teams from heaven.

Fred had a great sense of humor and we had so many laughs together over the years. Fred was an avid Chelmsford Lion supporter and I was a Dracut Middie: first as a player, then as a coach. We spent many Christmas eves together at the house of Dave & Fran L’Hussier ribbing each other, which we all looked forward to each year. Great memories! RIP Fred.

Freddy helped me obtain my first job after graduation from College that was in 1978. Shortly thereafter, Lorraine joined us at Raytheon. I will forever be grateful to Freddy, may he rest in eternal peace
