Malee Ren Sa of Lowell, MA

“Malee Ren Sa, 70, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Vantage Health and Rehab in Chelmsford, MA, after a period of declining health.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Chan Sok and Loeum Men. In December of 1983, Malee came to the United States and settled in Lowell, MA, later becoming a US Citizen in 2002.

Malee had a deep devotion to her Buddhist faith and frequented all the local Khmer Buddhist temples where she would participate in gatherings and prayer. Malee’s passion in life was caring for children; you could always depend on her to look out for and care for others’ children. She also enjoyed gardening. Malee is survived by her life partner Soben Chan and her nieces and nephews along with many friends.

Funeral Notice: Malee Ren Sa died on June 13, 2024, at Vantage Health and Rehab. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 1-2 PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Then go to  Wat Khmer Samaki Temple in Chelmsford, MA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, starting at 8 AM, followed by cremation services at Merrimack Cremation Service, 10 Henry Clay Drive, Merrimack, NH.”
