Keith Kevin Mulligan, 54, of Lowell, suddenly left us earth side on Sunday September 22nd 2024 and passed on to whatever incredible things that are awaiting us on the other side.
He was married to Lampung “Noy” (Yordkum) Mulligan with whom he would’ve celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on October 2nd.
Keith was born on February 8th, 1970 in Lowell, MA to Edward “Buddy” and Susan Mulligan.
He grew up as a free spirited child…sometimes a little bit of a trouble maker you could say but always kept things interesting. He loved to socialize, listen to music and dance (even though he was awful at it, and most of it was really just jumping up and down.) He loved scuba diving and enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed hiking and biking around anywhere that he could and was always trying to set new records for himself.
Keith found his calling later in life and proudly joined the Army National Guard after 9/11 to serve his country. He traveled to many places and served in the mission Operation Iraqi Freedom. Eventually he was called home from war due to a developing sickness that was later diagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis and Trigeminal Neuralgia. Despite the limits his illness caused he was selfless and still would not hesitate to help his loved ones in any way he could, even if it knocked him down for a few days afterwards. His heart was so big and so full of love and compassion.
Keith was a proud and loving father to his 3 children, Lydia, Liam and Emma Rose. There really wasn’t much he wouldn’t do to make them happy. He was the true definition of a “ride or die.” He is survived by his faithful wife, Noy, his youngest children Liam and Emma Rose Mulligan, of Bow, NH; his eldest daughter Lydia Mulligan-Howe and her husband Brad Howe of Nashua, NH, his mother Susan Mulligan of Lowell, MA, his sister Kim Mulligan of Lowell, MA, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and his one and only grandchild Fitzgerald Edward Howe who he loved so dearly.
He was the son of the late Edward “Buddy” Mulligan who died in 2016 and brother of the late Gregg Mulligan who died in 1980.

I served with the wonderful, quite and caring human. Only god know when its our time to depart our earth. I have some very fond memories of him while in Iraq. A man of few word but once in a conversation he very intellectual and informative. His prospective of the world was always caring for others. Uncle Keith, I hope you are resting in peace🥹 I won’t forget the last time I seen you and how much you made me laugh. All the talks we would have, I’m so sad I won’t be able to annoy you with calling you Chief Keef lol but thank you for the memories. Thank you for being a great father to my cousins and a great man overall to our family. Please continue to watch over my cousins, aunty and family, you will never be forgotten by us. Even though I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet Keith, I’m sure he was a great person who lived a great life. I’m so sorry for this huge loss, I wish this family as much peace and comfort as possible while you cope. You are in my thoughts and prayers forever.

I didn’t know Keith well, but from what I do know, he was a very kind person who made you feel welcome, and it’s sad that he can no longer share these gifts with his family and friends anymore. I haven’t had the pleasure of spending much time with Keith, but in the short time I knew him, he was such an easy person to converse with, wasn’t much he didn’t know how to do, and loved real country music almost as much as he loved his family. Thank you for your service and thoughts and prayers to all of Keith’s friends and family.

I am so sorry to hear Keith has passed away. He was a great guy with so much life to give. I loved talking to him, he always had such great insight. I pray for Noi and the children. I am just around the corner if they need anything 🙏🙏🙏🙏
