Paul E. Marcotte, 84, of N. Chelmsford, MA passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
He was married to Mary Eileen (Conrad) Marcotte with whom he celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary on July 18, 2024.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the beloved son of the late Alfred Marcotte and Viola (Beauregard) Marcotte.
Paul graduated from St. Joseph High School in Lowell with the Class of 1958. He attended Lowell Technical Institute.
He retired from Digital Equipment Corporation of Maynard, MA. In his retirement he consulted for many companies.
He volunteered at Mt. Washington Observatory in NH and Nashoba ValleyTechnical High School in Westford, MA.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA.
He enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren’s activities, walks along the Merrimack River and mystery car rides.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter, Chris-tine Mealey of , MA, his 5 grandchildren, Tyler Marcotte, Amanda Marcotte, Kyle Marcotte, Patrick Mealey and Erin Mealey (Alex Nazzaro), his brothers in law Jack (Carole) Conrad, Bob Conrad
and Dave (Pat) Conrad and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Stephen Marcotte of Plymouth, MA and brother of the late Doris Neault.
Paul’s visitation will be Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET,CHELMSFORD, MA followed by a Memorial Service at 6:30 pm. A
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Fairview
Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854. ARRANGEMENTS

RIP my dear brother in law! You were the sweetest loving man who got to be Dad and Grandpa to four who all loved you to infinity and beyond. I will miss you greatly! Until we meet again in the vast land of heaven! ❤️
