It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of the beloved Ernest “Ernie/Dick” L’Hussier, who left us on Sunday November 17, 2024 at the age of 91.
Know more affectionately as Ernie or Dick, he was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His absence leaves a void in our hearts.
Born in Lowell, MA on April 9, 1933. One of 7 children, he was the last surviving child.
A long time (60 year) resident of Westford, MA where he lived with his wife Dorothy (Brown) L’Hussier until her passing on November 25, 2009.
A proud Veteran of the Korean war, Corporal in the United States Army, he belonged to the H.E. Fletcher Club Westford, MA.
He always enjoyed wood working, history and loved talking to people. He made friends everywhere he went.
Survived by his daughter Donna Bussiere (Donald), son Dale L’Hussier (Laura) and 5 grandchildren, Aubrey Pelitera (Michael), Taryn L’Hussier, Hayley Bonnevie (Cody), Melissa Bussiere, Mitchell L’Hussier.
A private service will be held for immediate family. He will be buried beside his wife in Fairview Cemetery, Westford, MA.
