Charles James Dyment Jr., 71, of Westford, MA, passed away on December 5, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Detroit, MI he was the beloved son of the late Charles J. and Doris (Landry) Dyment Sr.
He attended Tyngsborough High School.
He proudly owned and operated Lowell Ink Tattoo Parlor and was a precision sheet metal mechanic. He would repair swimming pools and stone walls.
Charles was a member of the Lafayette Club of Lowell.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a musician and a poet.
He is survived by his sons Charles J. Dyment III and his wife Ana Dyment of Westford, MA; Colton Dyment of Westford, MA; daughter Shannon Dyment of Chelmsford, MA; brother William Dyment of Nashua, NH; brother-in-law Lee Makara of Hudson, NH; eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his daughter Brandi Dyment who passed in 2021, and sisters Charlene Gavlik and Marybeth Makara.

Visiting hours Fri., Dec. 13, 2024, from 9AM to 11AM with a service at 11AM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA. Private burial in Lowell Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Sorry for your loss. We were cousins of the same age and I have many fond memories from our childhood. The Dyments are a close family and Chuckie like his father, Uncle Charlie, was always ready with a smile. Love to all, my deepest condolences.
