William Douglas Sparks of Nashua, NH

William Douglas Sparks Sr., 81, of Nashua, NH, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Chelmsford, MA. He was born in Boston, MA, the son of the late Laurence and Helen (Cantrell) Sparks.

William was a proud graduate of Marlboro High School, Class of 1962. He continued his education at Northeastern University, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional career included significant roles at Bose, Segway, and Dell Computers, where he retired in 2014 after a long career as an electrical engineer. In retirement, William continued to contribute to his community through work at the YMCA and Home Instead Senior Care. He was also an active member of the Raymond Coalition for Youth.

Outside of his professional life, William had a variety of passions. He enjoyed karaoke and had a strong interest in martial arts.

He is survived by his two sons Douglas “Doug” Sparks and his wife Tracy of Nashua, NH, and Bryan and Stefanie Sparks also of Nashua, NH, as well as his two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
