In loving memory of Dim Dul, who passed away peacefully at 95 on March 22, 2025. Born in Cambodia, he survived the brutal Khmer Rouge genocide and found refuge in United States.
A dedicated member of the Buddhist community, he was deeply involved in his local temple, where he was revered not only for his wisdom but also for his unwavering commitment to serving others. Known as a teacher, interpreter, and spiritual guide, Dim was respected by all who knew him for his kindness, humility, and generosity. His legacy of compassion and devotion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community.
He was married to the late Soeun Bor.
He enjoyed taking long drives in his Oldsmobile, fishing, bird watching, taking care of his pet birds. His purest joy was just spending time with his family and he was very proud that he was always there for his grandchildren.
Dim is survived by his son, Sokhom Dul of Lowell, MA, five daughters, Sareth Dul and her husband, Sokhom Bun of Lowell, MA, Saroeum Xayadeth and her husband, Boonthong of Lowell, MA, Saveth Dul of Lowell, MA, Hing Dul and her husband, Puch Chhat of Lowell, MA, Chanthy Dul of North Andover, MA, his thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Sunday, April 6, 2025 starting at 3 PM at Wat Khemer Samaki Santikaram Buddhist Temple, 85 Tyngsboro Road, Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Monday, April 7, 2025 at 7:30 AM at Wat Khemer Samaki Santikaram Buddhist Temple. Burial to follow at the Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
