Arthur R. Noble, 69, of Westford, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday August 10, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Cohen) Noble with whom he would have celebrated 49 years of Marriage on August 25, 2016. His quote, “Pauline I love you!”
He was born in Lowell on July 25, 1947, the son of the late Harold and Ella (Coldwell) Noble. He was educated in the Lowell school system having graduated from Lowell Trade High School with the class of 1967.
Arthur retired in October of 2004 after 35 years of service at Tewksbury State Hospital in the Maintenance Dept. After retiring Arthur enjoyed spending time at his trailer in Barnstead, NH.
He was a member of Matthews Memorial Primitive Methodist Church in E. Chelmsford. He also was a life member of H.E. Fletcher Club and Stony Brook Rod & Gun Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Gail and Kevin Landers, Dawn and Manny Mendonca all of Westford, MA; one son, Bruce Noble of Westford, MA; a brother, James Noble of Ohio; a brother in-law, Neil Larsen of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Norma Cassidy and Linda Redhead both of Westford, MA; a sister in-law, Sheila Noble of Lowell, MA; eight grandchildren, Gina and Julie Noble, Danielle and Jason Mendonca, Edward, Kelsey, Kaitlyn, and Kristyn “Sunshine” Landers, a Godson, Michael Betty and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two grandchildren Angel Noble and Brendon Mendonca; his brother, H. Lee Noble of Humble, TX and his sister, Elsie Larsen of Jacksonville, FL.
Visitation will be Wed. August17, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm followed by a memorial service at 4pm at the Matthews Memorial Primitive Methodist Church, 128 Gorham St., E. Chelmsford, MA. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory.
