David Raymond Laurent of Lowell, MA died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his home.
He was married to the late Bonnie Surprenant.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Roland and Constance (Langlois) Laurent. He attended Greater Lowell Vocational High School before getting his GED.
He was a mechanic for BFI before working for various landscaping companies in the New England area.
David enjoyed motorcycles, and riding his Harley Davidson up the coast of New England. He was an outdoor enthusiast, and nature lover. He enjoyed walking, camping, fishing and hunting.
David frequently attended flea markets in Londonderry and Hollis, NH.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas Gillis of Lowell, MA, David Lee Laurent of South Carolina, and Derek Laurent of Maguire Air Force Base; a brother, Daniel Thomas Laurent and his wife, Ellen of Dracut; sisters, Diane Boyle and her husband, Thomas of Lowell, Doreen Bisson and her husband, Blake of Pepperell, and Dawn Smith and her husband, Jeffrey of Ashland.
There are no visiting hours. Funeral Service will be at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford, MA 01824. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
