Vanny Sok of Lowell

Vanny Sok, 62, of Lowell, MA died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston. He was married to Vanna Saiy. Born in Cambodia, he was the son of the late Saman Rous and Phann Meach of Cambodia. He graduated in Cambodia with an associate’s degree and came to the United States in 1984. He became a U.S. citizen in January of 2007. He was a member of Samaki Santikaram Temple of Tyngsboro Rd. North Chelmsford, MA. He worked at Radio Wave in North Andover in the manufacturing area. He was a very artistic individual and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons Vannarth Sok of Assonet, MA; “Rath” Sovanrath Sok and his wife, Savoeun Sok of Lowell; three daughters, Vannary Koo and her husband, Johnny Koo of Pepperell, Amara Sok of Lowell, Amaria Sok of Lowell and granddaughter Aria Koo of Lowell. His brother’s Samnany Rous and his wife, Sophea Chenda Vong of Lowell, Chea Rous of Lowell, and sister’s Srey Man and her husband, Vansai Say of Ontario, Canada; Sony Rous and her husband, Sitha Neov of Lowell, Chenda Rous and her husband, Kesara Sao of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Thal Rous of Lowell, and Neang Ros . Vanny ‘s Visiting hours are Friday, 3 to 4 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA 01863. Funeral is Saturday at 8:00 A.M. at the Samaki Santikaram Temple Tyngsboro Rd. North Chelmsford. The procession will then continue to the Burial at Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
