Claire M. (Filamond) Barbuti of Chelmsford

 

Mrs. Claire Marie (Filamond) Barbuti, 90, of Chelmsford, MA died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at D’Youville Senior Center in Chelmsford.

She was married to the late Mr. Joseph Berkeley and the late Peter Barbuti.

Born in Brookline, MA on August 12, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah Filamond. She received her nursing education from Boston City and University Hospital.

She worked for the Lowell Visiting Nurses.

She was a communicant of St Mary Church of Chelmsford, MA.

She was a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizen Group. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren at her retirement home in Biddeford, ME.

She was survived by her daughter Claire Urban of Chelmsford, her son Joseph and his wife, Karin Berkeley of Nashua, NH; and a foster-son, Paul Erickson; a sister, Alice and her husband, George Gilliland of Florida; three grandchildren, Peter and his wife, Jennifer Urban, Andrew and his wife, Kaitlin Urban and James Urban, and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Tyler, Sarah, and Lily Urban, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at 11am at St. Mary Church in Chelmsford, MA. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in her name to the D'Youville Foundation, 981 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-256-4040
