  1. Mike Harradon says:

My family was involved with Chelmsford Little League and later Chelmsford Youth Baseball for almost 10 years. It was a great experience I would repeat all over again if I could. George did a terrific job running the organization and will be greatly missed. We will add him to our prayers. Our best to his family.

  2. Paul Sweeney says:

George and I spent many years together on the Chelmsford Little League (CLL) Board. From my viewpoint, his primary purpose was to make CLL a respected organization. During the glory years, he accomplished this goal.

There were many things he did that showed his dedication to CLL. From the processing of all the paperwork necessary for late sign-ups or withdrawals to completely handing picture day details to trophy ordering and distribution, etc, etc, etc, George delivered. I always admired his thoroughness in doing these things extremely well to ensure CLL ran smoothly.

He will be missed. There is a big void to fill, not only directing the League forward but getting someone to do all those behind the scene jobs as well as they were done by George.
