Robert P. Gannon of Chelmsford, MA

Robert P. Gannon, 81 of Chelmsford, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Giving Tree Senior Living in Dracut, MA.

He was the beloved husband of the late Jane R. (Golen) Gannon, who predeceased him on October 4, 2021.

Born and raised in Lowell, MA, Robert was the son of the late James and Gertrude Gannon. He was a proud graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1961.

Robert dedicated his career to Digital in Marlboro, retiring in 1995. In his retirement, he pursued his passion for writing, working as an independent draftsman and authoring his own mystery novel.

He is survived by his son, Mathew Gannon, and his wife, Carla, of Chelmsford, MA; his daughter, Jennifer Gannon, of Chelmsford, MA; his brothers, James Gannon and his wife, Carole, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Richard Gannon of Dracut, MA; his cherished grandson, Peter Gannon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
