Al was a comedian, co-worker, friend, and nice guy. Made you smile and could get a genuine belly laugh out of you at the most unexpected times. I can say that I had learned a few new things from him just in the short amount of time we had together. We’ll miss his face around the dealership and his unmistakable presence here in the Parts Dept. Be easy Al. Condolences from the Roland Family…

My heart is so saddened to hear of Al’s passing. I have such fond memories of Al. His smile, his sense of humor, his kindness will never be forgotten. His deep love for you Jean and for his grand children was so evident. The kindness and love he showed to Corbin, Dentn and to me is something I hold near and dear to my heart. Words cannot begin to express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of such a great man.
Praying that you will find peace with his passing in the memories that will forever be in your hearts.

My father Paul worked and was apart of the Hamel Brother Family for 28 years. Growing up my brothers and I would always stop in during the summer or after school to help out or go in to see our Dad and Cindy. Al was always there to put a smile on our face. “How’s my little buddy?” he would always ask. His known phrase. Al and his wife Bev were also my parents neighbors at the summer camp in Alton. They would often invite us over to their camp. When I went off to bootcamp in 2008, Al and Bev would write me cards and sent a roll of stamps. He was such a kind and wonderful man. Just everyones comical grandfather. My father also expressed how truly genuine, kind, and generous Al was. Our family is deeply saddened by his passing and our hearts are with Bev and her family.
Love,
Al’s Little Buddies

My sincere condolence to the Blodgett family. I knew Al from purchasing my first Brand New car from him when he worked at Lowell Lincoln Mercury in 1974 when I was 18 yrs old. He was so kind and sincere during the process that I still rememmber it today. That is a testament to Al that I have carried with me these past many years. Again, my condolences. Michael Nolan
