An Prom, 83, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Hem En.
Born in Battambang Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Chhim Prom and Orn Touch.
She came to the United States in March of 1982 and became a US citizen in 1998.
An was a loving and caring mother who took pride in providing for her family. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
She was a member of the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple in Chelmsford, MA.
She is survived by six sons, Hang En and his wife Neary En, Chandara En and his wife Roath En, Ken Vanna En and his wife Ling En, Sovanna En and Mimith En and his wife Sophorn En, Soksambath En and his wife Savy; a daughter, Saovary En, fifteen grandchildren, Chhaya En and his wife Bri En, Steven En, Choranay En, Darek En, Zachary En, Kevin En, Nicholas En, Ethan En, Thomas En, Mathew En, Sophia En, John En, Miranda En, Annie En, and Sara En; two great grandchildren, Alexender En and Lydia En, and many nieces and nephews.
An is predeceased by two sons, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Sunday from 1-2 pm at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD MA. Her funeral procession will leave the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple on Monday July 20, 2020 at 8AM and conclude at Merrimack Cremation Service, 10 Henry Clay Drive., Merrimack NH.
