Andrew Kim I, 20, of Dracut, MA passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of Kimath I and Sokunthea Sanh both of Dracut, MA.
He graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School with the class of 2020. After high school Andrew went on to study computer science at UMass Lowell.
Andrew enjoyed hanging out with friends and especially loved playing video games with them online. He also enjoyed playing basketball and kickball outside. He was a fan of sports especially the Arizona Cardinals whose jersey he recently received as a gift.
Andrew was a thoughtful and caring person, and made sure to always include others.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Leanne Kim I of Dracut, MA, his grandparents; Scott Sanh and Nilen Lim of Dracut, MA, Sarin Meach, and his many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was the grandson of the late Sorn Kim I.

I was the President of the National Technical Honor Society at GLTHS during the 2018-2019 school year. Andrew was a dedicated member of the NTHS and always focused intensely on his studies. I also had the pleasure of knowing Andrew both as a fellow classmate and teammate on the GLTHS track and field team.
Andrew always brought smiles to the team and led by example both on and off the field. I wish the deepest condolences to his family and friends.
