Ann E. Paynter
Longtime resident of N. Chelmsford
Ann E. (Sullivan) Paynter, 80, a longtime resident of N. Chelmsford, MA died Sunday, March 1st at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was married to the late James D. Paynter, who died May 29, 1998.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Jerimiah and Margaret Sullivan. She graduated from St. Columbkille High School with the class of 1952.
She retired in 1992 from Raytheon of S. Lowell.
Ann was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She enjoyed ballroom dancing, going to movies with her friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter in law. James D. Paynter Jr. of N. Chelmsford, John J. Paynter of N. Chelmsford, Gerard and his wife Val Paynter of Brookline, NH. Two daughters and sons in law Linda and her husband Mark of Nashua, NH, June and Ron DeGagne of Chelmsford. She is also survived by one sister and brother in law Pauline and her husband Ed Buckley of NC. Four grandchildren, Janelle and her husband Ryan Richardson, Michael DeGagne, Stephanie Demers, and Timothy Demers.
Ann was the Mother of the late Francis Paynter. Sister of the late Gerald Sullivan of Middlesex, NJ , Fr. Francis Sullivan of Boston, and Margaret McCann of Tewksbury. Grandmother of the late Kristin Demers.
Funeral Thursday at 10 from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, N. Chelmsford.
