Mrs. Anne Elizabeth (Redican) Parks, 74, of Tyngsboro, MA died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to Mr. Richard H. Parks Jr. with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on October 12, 2015.
Anne was the daughter of the late John and Florence Redican. She attended Concord-Carisle High School, and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1959.
She retired from Whistler Corp. of Westford, MA
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA.
She was a member of Middlesex 4H Club and Middlesex Valley Riding & Drive Club. Anne loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and going out to lunch with her friends known as the “Lunch Bunch”. She was an avid equestrian. In her later years, she took classes in oil painting and has a large collection of her work.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Heather Rogers of Townsend, MA and Kelly Bagni of Dunstable, MA, a sister, Maureen Wasson of Nashua, NH, two sisters-in-law, Beverly and her husband Yvon Lepine of Southampton, NY, and Kathleen and her husband Kevin McGonigal of Rome, GA and four grandchildren, Sophia Bagni, Liam, Amelia, and Sarah Rogers as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was also survived by her closest longtime friend, Pat Nichols of Tyngsboro, MA
She was the sister of the late John Redican of Chelmsford who died in 1999.
Visiting hours Mon. 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Tues. at 10am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA. Burial in Central Cemetery, Dunstable, MA.
