Prior to his death, he worked for the Town of Chelmsford D.P.W. and then for his brother Ken from Kleynen Plumbing of Chelmsford.
He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Chelmsford.
Artie was a free soul who spent his life camping with his wife. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots and especially Nascar. But he was most proud of being a Veteran.

Artie and I grew up together. As young teens there was hardly a weekend when we didn’t sleep over each others house. A lot of great memories. My condolences to Theresa, Kenny, Bobbie, Keith, Bonnie and family.
