Brenda C. Roddy of Lowell, MA

Brenda Catherine Roddy, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, November 28, 2024, at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell.

A longtime resident of Lowell, Brenda was born to the late Michael F. and Esther A. (Carter) Roddy. She graduated from St. Michael’s School, and attended Lowell High School.

Brenda spent most of her career at Graham’s Manufacturing in Lowell, and retired from AGFA in Wilmington.

Brenda was a devoted parishioner of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish of Lowell and St. Mary‘s Church in Chelmsford. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality, the Middlesex Women’s Club, and the Village Belles Red Hat Society.

Known for her love of life, Brenda enjoyed traveling especially to Cape Cod, Alaska, and Ireland. She cherished winter getaways with family to Florida. Brenda was happiest spending time at the pool. She also loved playing cards, making candy, and watching classic movies, especially musicals.

Brenda leaves behind her sister-in-law Joanne Roddy of North Chelmsford, MA and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved siblings: Eileen Pelton, Mary Roddy, Esther Crowley, Madeline Roddy, June Connors, Raymond Roddy, and John Roddy.

The family would like to thank the Wannalancit D’Youville Senior Care staff for the love, and support they provided to Brenda.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Brenda will not have any visitation. Her funeral will be Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 9am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST.
