Brent J. Gelinas, age 59, of Pepperell, MA, passed away on June, 19, 2024, after a 2-year battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Amy (Connell) Gelinas, with whom he would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on September 2, 2024.
Born in Lowell, MA, Brent was the son of John Gelinas and predeceased by his mother Paula (Huggins) Danley.
Raised in Westford, MA, he graduated from Westford Academy, Class of 1982, and was captain of the football team in his Senior year.
Brent spent his career working at various auto body shops, and one of his proudest accomplishments was painting the Chelmsford Police D.A.R.E. Cruiser while employed at Al Gendron & Sons.
Brent was a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing golf. He was a fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins. He also took great pride/enjoyment working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; his daughters and their spouses. Courtney and Travis Len of Mason, MI, Ashley and Anthony Malara of Hampstead, NC, Katlyn Gelinas of Jacksonville, FL and stepson Jim Ramsay of Norton, MA. Brent also leaves behind his grandchildren, Makayla and Lucas, step grandchildren, Charis and McKayla; his brother, Bryant Gelinas of Dubuque, IA; his sister Melissa Tsouprakos, and her husband, Arthur, of Hudson, NH; and his brothers-in-law and their spouses; David and Erica Connell of Tyngsborough, MA, and Steven and Debbie Connell of Poinciana, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brent was truly one of a kind. The kind of guy who would do anything for the ones he loved. The one guy you always knew If you needed him he would drop anything to help you out.
