Charlene Denise Hand Wallace age 72 passed away Saturday July 1, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on September 2, 1950. She was the daughter of the late George and Irene (Beauregard) Hand.
Charlene graduated from Chelmsford High School class of 1968.
She was employed by CTI Headstart of Lowell where she taught for many years.
Charlene is survived by her son Lonnie Hand and wife Robin of Pelham, NH., son Daniel Wallace and wife Cheryl of Ormond Beach, FL., daughter Renee Hutchison of Ormond Beach, FL., son Kevin Wallace and wife Amanda of Loudon, NH., and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Jeanne Lewis of Lowell, MA., a brother Donald Hand and wife Susan of Manchester, NH., a sister Marsha Herling and husband Thomas of Epsom, NH., a sister Nancy Casey and husband Jonathan of Sun City, CA., and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Friday August 4, 2023 from 5:00PM-7:00PM with a memorial service beginning at 7:00PM.

Charlene was a very caring and understanding person . I was 20 years old when I first meet the Hand / Wallace family .
I found out very quickly that a foosball table hopping across the floor at 1am was a very bad idea Lonnie wanted to throw the table out the 3rd floor window. Mind you that they lived on the first floor. My first impression was not a good one . Charlene looked passed that night and half dozen oh hell 2-3 dozen more parties . I even got caught borrowing there cable for a few weeks ?. Before they called the cable guy because her tv was fuzzy. Her response was why didn’t you just asked we could have worked something out. She treated me like a family member. Sorry we lost touch over the years . Rest easy Charlene
