3eqb4ppcCharles V. Andruskiewicz, 87, of Westford, MA passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.

He was married to the late Charlotte (Nystrom) Andruskiewicz, who passed away in 1985.

Born in Lowell on July 2, 1927 a son of the late Andrew and Mary Andriuskevicius. He grew up in Lowell and graduated from Keith Academy with the Class of 1945

He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Charles worked at Wannalancit Textile Mills, Compo Industries. He retired from the maintenance dept. at Lowell General Hospital in 1989.

He was a member of the DLVK Lithuanian Club in Lowell and the Westford and Chelmsford Senior Centers.  He enjoyed gardening and was an avid walker. He also loved wood working making toys and furniture. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grand-children and great grand-children. He built his home in Westford where he had lived for over 59 years.

He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte and her husband, Peter Bradley of Epsom, NH; three sons, Charles A. Andruskiewicz of Nashua, NH, Brian A. and his wife, Karen Andruskiewicz of Lake Dallas, TX and Bruce A. and his wife, Pam Andruskiewicz of Westford; a sister, Helen and her husband, Leo Nalivaika of Worcester, MA; three grandchildren, Jerrica Bradley and her fiancé Peter Smith, Talitha McLain and Kristin Andruskiewicz; ten step grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Oliver and Elliot McLain, fourteen step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Veronica Chester and Stanley Anderson

Visiting hours Sun. 4 to 8 P.M. Funeral Mon. at 8A.M.from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Westford. For those that wish contributions may be made in his name to the Charity of  one’s choice. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
