Charlotte C. (Goras) Beauregard of Westford
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully on Sunday March 12, 2017 at Westford House.
Born in Lowell, Mass Jan. 7, 1926, youngest child of Francizek and Rozalia (Niedzielski) Goras.
Wife of Robert L. Beauregard who predeceased her on Feb 20, 1999 after sharing 54 years of marriage.
She was a longtime resident of No. Chelmsford, Ma and was active in many organizations, most notably
Treasurer and President of Seton Guild, Treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Polish American Veterans Club and active with St. John the Evangelist Church, No. Chelmsford
She is survived by her daughter Gail Perreault; Grandsons P. Evan Perreault; Mathew W. Perreault and his wife Nicole; Granddaughter Elyse Perreault; And two great grandchildren Ava Perreault and P. Evan Perreault, Jr all of Yardley, Pa; A beloved sister Victoria (Mrs. John) Cashman; Many nieces and nephews all of whom were special to her.
She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and loved sending cards to everyone she cared about.
She was predeceased by brother John Goras, sisters Mary Duzak, S. Estelle Holmes, Josephine Bradley, Julia Crowley, brothers Joseph Goras and Walter Goras
Charlotte was a graduate of Lowell High School and Lowell Commercial College. She worked in various companies, most recently until her retirement as office manager for builder Thomas Sugden . Charlotte was an avid reader especially murder mysteries and working on crossword puzzles.
She and Bob enjoyed many happy summers sharing their beach house at Wells, Maine with family and especially their cocktail parties with a wonderful group of friends at Beach Acres.
Charlotte’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Poe’s Corner, Westford House for the care and dignity they gave to Charlotte during her almost 6 years there as a resident.
No visiting hours. Funeral Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, No. Chelmsford.
