Chhorm Sao of Lowell, MA

Chhorm Sao, of Lowell, MA, passed away on August 28, 2024. Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she was the wife of Bunsey Sao. Sao Chhorm dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and found joy in sewing, cooking, and gardening.

Chhorm’s faith was an integral part of her life. As a devoted Buddhist, she found solace and purpose in her visits to the temple. Her generosity was a defining feature of her character; she was known for her compassionate spirit, especially towards children in need.

She is survived by her two sons, Seng Sao and his wife Sorn Kheav of Lowell, MA, and Song Sao and his wife Sopheak Pav of Lowell, MA. Her daughters, Seth Sao, Soueth Sao, and Saron Sao, who is married to Yada Ros of Lowell, MA, also carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

May she rest in peace and may her legacy of kindness and compassion continue to inspire all who knew her.
