Christy John Kouropoulos of Chelmsford, MA

Christy John Kouropoulos, 92, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away on October 22, 2024, at Monadnock Community Hospital, Peterborough, NH.

He was the devoted husband of Janina (Gurskis) Kouropoulos, with whom he shared 68 loving years of marriage.

Born in Lowell, MA, Christy was the cherished son of Ernest and Marcella (Korsakas) Kouropoulos. He dedicated 25 years to Pollards Department Store, followed by another 25 years at Ippolitos Furniture. A faithful communicant of St. Joseph Lithuanian Church in Lowell, he was also a lifelong member of the Lithuanian DLKV Club. He also enjoyed stamp collecting.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Stephen John and daughter-in-law Lisa Kouropoulos of New Ipswich, NH, and predeceased by his son Christy James Kouropoulos. He is also survived by his grandsons, Matthew, of New Ipswich, NH, and Andrew and his wife Kathleen Kouropoulos, of Amherst, NH.

Visiting hours Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 9-10:30AM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11AM.  Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
