Constance “Connie” Pelley of Chelmsford, MA passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016, at Westford House with her family by her side.
She was married to the late Christopher Pelley, who died in 1970.
Born in Lowell, MA she was the daughter of the late Christos and Panagiota (Gekalos) Kyriakos. She was raised in Lowell and attended Lowell Public and Parochial Schools.
She was a seamstress for herself and her family and helped the WWII efforts by making parachutes for the US Military. Her main focus has always remained taking care of her family. Connie enjoyed singing, dancing, gardening, and decorating her home. She loved watching Dancing with the Stars, home improvement shows, and football, especially Aaron Rogers.
She has lived in Chelmsford since 1961. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Connie is survived by her sons, Victor Pelley of Chelmsford and his companion, Bonnie Jacobbellis of Carlisle, Dennis Pelley of Melbourne, FL, William Pelekasis and his wife Donna of Salem, NH; Daughter, Paula Hill of Palm Bay, FL; Grandchild, Alaina Pelekasis; Great grandchildren, Christina and Eliana Pelekasis; many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Leo Pelley who died in 1967. Grandmother of the late Tiffany (Hill) Chan. Sister of the late James Kyriakos and George Karas, Hazel Dabekis, Ann Arvanites, Julia Ciesla, and Lillian Pelekasis.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 to 7 P.M. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Service at 10AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. Donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 62 Lewis St. Lowell, MA. 01854. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.

I’ve kept track of Connie’s wonderful life through conversations with my friend and co-worker, her niece, Diane Horan. Connie lived life to the fullest. Rest in peace.
