Constance Louise James, 92, of Billerica, MA died Monday, March 8, 2021
at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to the late Merton J. James who died on January 17, 2012.
Born in Waltham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Todero and Marie (Rigoli) Todero.
She graduated from Waltham High School with the class of 1947.
She retired from Winchester Public Schools as a bookkeeper. She previously was a crossing guard for the city of Waltham.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s and St. Matthew’s Church of Billerica, MA.
Constance was a devoted and faithful Catholic and enjoyed her precious time in Maine and Florida.She loved her family with all her Heart.
She is survived by her daughters Carol and Philip Geary of Laconia, NH and Sandra and Michael Baia of Tewksbury, MA, her sons Gary and Nancy James of Hanover, MA, Kenneth James of Billerica, MA, Steven and Rosemary James of Bridgeton, ME and Ronald and Judi James of Townsend, MA, her sister Irene Astone of Falmouth, MA, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-children and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sal Todero, Josephine Uttaro, Diane Quinlan, Anne Marchand and Estelle Pastena.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Ascend Hospice, 100 Locke Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral Mass Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church, Billerica, MA. To attend her funeral mass coverings are required for attendees.

Grammy I have not seen you for awhile I appreciate that you prayed for me every day and night and that you never ever treated me any different than any of the other grand kids . I remember you called me Michael Angelo when I was a child you were a very selfless person always doing everything for your family never ever thinking of your self I love you and the world is a better place because you were in it your grand son Michael Angelo James
