Dave was an active member of Immanuel Church in Chelmsford, MA. He attended Men’s Bible Study weekly and had volunteered as a Stephen’s minister and assistant collector. His faith was preeminent in his life and he was often heard asking others, “Do you know Jesus?”

Dear Lisa, Andrew&Sarah,
Your “David”, was loved by everyone here at Immanuel. Inspiring everyone by his grit and determination. Fighting Parkinson’s was secondary to “fighting the good fight” for his Lord and Savior Jesus! Always standing firm in his unwavering faith he was a big part of our men’s Bible study group over so many years. I will miss his strong handshakes and his good nature under tough circumstances.
He is a close “brother in the Lord” now and always!
Love and prayers,
Buddy

I will truly miss seeing Dave at worship and church events. His faithfulness to the Lord and His church was a blessing to see.
His contribution during the Bible study after the service was always informative and encouraging.
Lisa and Dave showed what a faithful loving marriage looks like.
I will miss talking with Dave at the cafe after worship.
Lisa and the family are in our prayers before the Lord.
Peace and grace

To Lisa and family, please accept mine and Jody’s condolences for your loss. We are grateful to have known Dave as a friend and neighbor for these many years. I first got to know him when struggling to move a chest into my house before my wife came home. He quickly came over and asked if I needed help, which I surely did. We got it in, and it was a great surprise for my wife.
This was one of many times he would show up and help without being asked. Another time, I was laid up with a fractured knee and one evening, my wife went out to clear heavy snow from the driveway so she could get her car out. I made my way to the door to see how she was making out. I saw another person shoveling with her and asked who that was. She said it was Dave. She said he just came over and began shoveling with her. I was so grateful he was there to help.
While we didn’t travel in the same social groups, I found that we both shared an interest in tinkering with cars. We would borrow tools that we needed but didn’t have and would compare notes on some repairs. He once told me about a friend that had a car lift in his garage. We laughed and said wouldn’t that be nice.
He was amazing, as is his family. Jody and I will always have a place in our hearts for knowing him and we wish his family the best.

Karen, I am so sad to learn of Dave’s passing. I remember so many times together celebrating his wedding, many Easters at his parents. My thoughts are with you as you grieve your brother’s passing, and yet celebrating his eternal homegoing!!
