Debbie was a great friend who prayed for everyone around her and was an example of faith to us all. She loved her books and was always in search of the best new books. She was so proud of her sons and their families and they were her everything. She will be missed by me and so many.
Love, prayers and hugs to you all.

Debbie was a dear and faithful friend. We shared our love of books and enjoyed lots of laughs as we compared our “Irish” childhood memories. With love and prayers, Judy and Bill Walsh

This dear woman was the first true “prayer warrior” I had the opportunity to meet. Deb showed me to pray the simple and share your heart for those in need. In all those years of pain I never saw anguish in her but a silent acceptance of where God lead her to serve Him.

We all were better people to have walked in the sphere of her prayers and love. Her understanding and empathy was an incredible gift to all who knew her. We will miss you Deb and I know I have become a better person by walking beside you. God bless you and a special prayer to your boys and family. We have all been blessed by God’s gift of you in our lives.

Debbie and I go way back to before we were born. Our mothers were both pregnant during WW II and our fathers stationed overseas. I always say we were friends since before we were born. Even though we lived only briefly in the same apartment building, we stayed friends these 71 years. I always tried to visit when I would come East and was glad we had a wonderful visit in July of this year.

She was such a devout woman and a woman of great faith. I will miss her so much.

Deborah Hubbard, my best friend and soul mate for almost 35 years, will be in my heart forever. I have learned so much from her from loving, caring, praying and living life to its fullest. Now she is at peace in God’s arms. First and foremost in her life was her family. I will cherish my time with her on this earth.
Love, hope and prayers, Janet Penninger

Debbie was “blessed to be a blessing” to all who knew her and was a light and model of faith to her Aldersgate family. She was the strongest woman we know and overcame so many health issues in one lifetime by leaning on her Lord. Yet she would take time to pray for her church family in the midst of her pain.
Our lives were enriched with her friendship and we will deeply miss her. She was a true bibliophile and her friends personal ‘librarian’. Debbie will live on in our memories.
