To the entire Cunningham family I am so sorry for your loss. Delores was a wonderful and beautiful woman. It was always a pleasure to be around her. She lit up a room. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time .

Irish Prayer:
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away to the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, That, we still are,
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed.
at little jokes, we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken with out effect.
Without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that ie ever meant.
It is the same it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken community.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Even though we were not that close due to age and geography love of family always stays with us and we were saddened to hear of my Aunt’s passing as I never heard a negative word about her just how gracious, kind, and loving she was and I’m sure just a little feisty as all the costellos were and could really tell some risque jokes of which I’m sure the family heard over her 93 years. Here’s to you Aunt Dolores!

Aunt Dolores was my namesake. Always knew her to be giving, kind and funny. She was there for me with support during a stressful time in my life. Bless her she will be truly missed.

The loss of our dear Aunt Dolores is sad in so many ways. She was my baby sitter before she married. I always enjoyed visiting her and the Cunningham family whenever I was in Massachusetts. Yes! to me and so many others she reflected a warm positive upbeat spirit. With her passing our family has lost the last of her generation. I will treasure her memory always. May God rest her beautiful soul. I will have masses offered for the happy repose of her soul.

My condolences to all the family. I was lucky to reconnect with Dolores last spring. She updated me on her family and wished my Happy Mother’s Day, and I sent her a picture of the Costello sisters. She was so kind.

I am deeply sorry for the family regarding your loss. I remember our family visiting Dolores and Walter when I was young. I remember her good nature and laughter whenever we saw her at Costello family events.
Sincerely,

I am so sorry to hear this news. But what a life she had and you could tell loved her family and life in general.
A long time ago I used to love coming over for Dee Dee and hear “whos that knocking at my door”? and to have the favorite ‘sugar’ bread?
I am so thankful to have known her and I feel for all of you for your loss.
But I feel happy when I think of her, we were the lucky ones.
R.I.P Mrs. C
