I am deeply saddened to hear this. Donna was an intelligent, personable, honest, fun loving, nice person. She was one of the classiest persons I ever met and am deeply saddened to hear this. The world has lost a very classy lady.
It is no surprise that she has the traits of the model person as Don and Mary are among the most respected, nicest people I ever had the pleasure to meet.

Way too early for such a wonderful soul. Her laugh, with that smile, will stay with me forever. While I didn’t work as closely with her as others at Ethicon, mostly due to opposite coasts, I always enjoyed catching up with her at meetings and conferences. She was a veteran in the sales management team and a fabulous and successful leader. I can attest that there are dozens of successful sales representatives and managers out there that can attribute much of their development from Donna. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Donna.

Although we haven’t seen the Abely’s in many years, I’ve always cherished my memories, and always will, of our times in Vermont and visits to New Hampshire. I’ve always looked up to Donna, as she was my very first best friend’s sister. I always thought she was so beautiful, inside and out. The world has definitely lost a special person, but heaven has gained a true angel. Love to you all. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Rest in peace Donna.

I was disheartened to hear of Donna’s passing yesterday, more than I can put into these few words. She was a mentor to me at Gynecare as well as a friend. It was so refreshing to see a bright, independent, positive woman in the Medical Industry excelling as she did. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the chance to have worked and learned from her. My fondest memory of Donna will always be when she came down to Fresno in 2004 to attend John and my wedding. She will be missed by all and my heart and deepest condolences goes out to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Angel.

I was so sorry to hear about Donna’s passing. I have worked with her for a number of years starting at Gynecare and thru the transition to Ethicon. She was always an amazing leader and could take into consideration the needs of the job and the personal attention needed from her coworkers. She was a mentor to me during times of transition and a friend during down times. She was so happy to be an aunt and spend the time with her family on their cruises. Her face lit up when discussing those people she cared most about. She will forever be missed and I’m grateful for having known her.

I got to know Donna during the “early Gynecare” days. She was a strong leader and always put her team and colleagues first.
She never took herself too seriously and enjoyed her down time. After hours, we closed many a bar, but always manages to rally in the am. She was a very dear friend.
Rest in peace Donna, your spirit does live on.

I knew Donna when we were children in Vermont. She was four years older than I. My sister, Jennifer was best friends with Donna’s sister Marlo and my parents were good friends were their parents. We had a lot of fun times when we lived together in Vermont and when would visit the Abely’s in New Hampshire. I will treasure those memories and I thank God for being a part of Donna’s life. Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things have passed.” Rest in peace Donna. Love to Mary Lou, Don, Marlo and family.

I wanted to share with her family and friends my deep sorrow for the passing of this wonderful spirit. Donna was such a joy – the kind of person that always made you feel better when you were around her. She was always so optimistic, even in the face of adversity. I know she is looking down on all of us right now, cheering us on.
