Dorene Grace (McSheehy) Boyle of N. Chelmsford June 10, 1947-March 23, 2020

Dorene Grace Boyle, 72, of North Chelmsford passed away on March 23, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was married to the late Thomas Michael Boyle, the love of her life, who died in March of 2017.  She was the daughter of the late John and Theresè (Geoffroy) McSheehy and the sister of the late Patricia (McSheehy) Fournier.
She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1965 and was a member of the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association. She received her Masters Degree in Special Education at Rivier University.
Dorene retired in 2018 after 40 years of devoted service as a special education teacher, having spent most of her teaching career at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, MA and Saint Joseph Elementary in Lowell, MA. She will best be remembered for organizing talent shows, bake sales and the school newspaper. She touched the hearts of so many of her students and most of them stayed in contact with her long after she retired.
She was an avid reader, especially of Steven King novels and enjoy spending her free time at the McKay library. She was an active member at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Chelmsford and spent countless hours volunteering at varies programs.
Dorene claimed York Beach, ME as her happy place and vacationed there with her family often. She was a doting and selfless mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughters Tamara McNulty and her husband Steven of N. Chelmsford, Jody Ronayne and her husband Paul Depetrillo of Pelham, NH;  four grandchildren, Patrick and Shawn Ronayne, Rhiannon McNulty, and Sophia Depetrillo; sister, Debbie McSheehy of Kansas City,MO; nieces, Jennifer Pate, and Melissa Burris, and a nephew Mark Kitsmiller.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation FAMILY REQUESTING TO HAVE THEIR GUESTS WEAR MASKS on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 Middlesex St., No. Chelmsford, MA 01863 with a funeral service at 5:00 P.M.
