Doris K. (Shanahan) Cropper, 91, of Lowell, MA died Wednesday evening, February 14, 2024 in Lowell, MA.
She was married to the late Thomas J. Cropper, who died on August 20, 2014.
Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Gladys (Riley) Shanahan. She graduated from Keith Hall High School with the class of 1950.
Doris retired in 1999 from the Lowell School Department, where she worked as a para professional. She had previously worked at the IRS in Andover, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish of Lowell.
She was a member of the L.A.O.H. Lowell Division 19.
Doris is survived by a son, James F. Esq. and his wife, Judith Esq. Cropper of Methuen, MA.
She was the sister of the late William D. Shanahan of Tyngsboro, MA, the late Thomas O. Shanahan of Lowell, MA, the late Frederick A. Shanahan of Dracut, MA and the late Francis Shanahan of Dracut, MA.
FUNERAL NOTICE
