Doris (Nobert) Shepard Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother

Doris Shepard, 95, of Lowell, MA passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Shepard.

Born in Lowell, MA, Doris was the daughter of the late Alphonse Nobert and Lucie (Leboeuf) Nobert.

Prior to her retirement, Doris was employed at Millipore Corporation of Bedford, MA and previously worked at Sue-Ann Manufacturing of Lowell.

She was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church of Tyngsboro.

Doris was an active member of the Lowell Senior Center. She enjoyed dinner dances, Friday socials, playing bingo and playing cards with her family.

She is survived by her children, Therese Laffey and husband Patrick of Lowell, MA; Elizabeth Mackey of Pelham, NH; Dennis Shepard and partner Elizabeth Comeau of Dover, NH; Gary Shepard and wife Lee of Peterborough, NH; Joanne Toscano and husband Bob of Wareham, MA. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Doris was the last of 9 children.

She was the mother-in-law of the late Robert Mackey and great-grandmother of the late Adrian Kimborowicz.

FUNERAL NOTICE

It being her request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to Doris’s Memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 1st at 11AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Ave, Tyngsboro, MA.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
