Dorothy J. “Chickie” Hebert, 75, of Lowell, MA died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at home after a lengthy illness.
She was married to Leo Hebert with whom she would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on April 25th.
Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. Bigelow and
Ruth (Horner) Bigelow. She graduated from Lowell High School, with the class of 1963.
Dorothy was a communicant of Holy Family Parish of Lowell.
She was previously employed by JM Fields and Caldor.
She was a member of the Lowell High School Reunion Committee, the Sixties Chicks, Trivia Group, and the Knick Club.
She enjoyed catching up with friends on Facebook, traveling to Florida and Las Vegas, and loved spending time with her family.
Besides her husband she is survived by son Thomas Hebert of Lowell, daughter Lynne Silva and her husband John of Lowell, three grandchildren Michael Silva and partner Devin Fitzgerald, Matthew Silva and wife Kelsey, Megan Silva and fiancé Kevin Cashin, three great-grandchildren Matty Silva, Blake Silva, Liam Cashin, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Robert Hebert and sister of the late Robert Bigelow.

Hebert, of Lowell, MA died December 21, 2021. Visiting hours Thursday 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. Prayer service at 12 Noon at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD.
