Edward D. Russell of N. Chelmsford, MA

Edward D. Russell, 70, of N.Chelmsford died Wed. August 10, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH after a long illness.

He was born in Boston, Ma on Aug. 15, 1945, the son of the late Edward and Florence Russell. He grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School.

Ed worked as a General Contractor in the Lowell and Boston area building many professional offices.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Pi Chen Kwan of N. Chelmsford; two daughters, Leah Russell and Lauren Botte and her husband Michael all of Everett, MA; a grandson, Travis Botte; a son and daughter, Kenneth Russell and Mary Anne Russell; two sisters, Janet Manley of Hingham, MA and Eileen Melia of Arlington, VA; his former wife, Dianne (Cardillo) Russell of Saugus, MA.

He was predeceased by his son, Edward Russell Jr.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be Thursday August 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the NH State Veterans Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway Rte 3, Boscawen, NH 03303. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for Cancer 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN38105.
