Edwin Moses Kinyanjui, 57, of Lowell, MA, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2025, at home. He was married to the late Lucy (Kiarie) Kinyanjui.
Born in Kiambu, Kenya he was the beloved son of Edward Mburu Kinyanjui and Lillian Wanjiru Kinyanjui both of Lowell MA.
Edwin attended Nyathuna Primary school, Michinda Primary School – Elburgon and Musa Gitau Primary School and Kirangari High school. Edwin loved cars and chose to join a Mechanic technical school where he learned how to repair cars. He worked as a driver for a Kenyan flower farm and for his uncle Eliud Mwaniki.
In 2001 Edwin came to the United States, he completed his certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Vantage Health and Rehab of Chelmsford formerly known as Palm Manor Nursing Home.
As a proud member of the Kenyan Community, Edwin loved to drive people to and from work and school. He was proud of the fact that he taught many people how to drive. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of chickens and rabbits, listening to music, dancing, taking care of children, but his ultimate and purest joy came from spending time with people, especially his family and friends.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sons Edward Kinyanjui of Merrimac, MA and Kennedy Kinyanjui of Lowell, MA, and his sisters Rachel, Agnes, Kezia, Catherine, Grace and Salome, his grandchildren Savannah Kinyanjui, Kalila Kinyanjui and Azel Moses Kinyanjui, many brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and friends and all the lives Edwin touched in his short 57 years on this earth.
He was the father of the late Amos Kinyanjui of Lowell, MA. who died on January 16, 2025.
