Mrs. Elaine Kierce Robinson of Lowell, MA died Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late Mr. Frank T. Robinson who died May 17, 2009. Born in Lowell, MA on October 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Dorothy (Roarke) Kierce of Lowell, MA. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1958.
Elaine proudly served with the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corp Wave at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA during the Vietnam War.
She retired in 2002 from Raytheon where she worked as an assembler.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish of Lowell, MA.
She was a member of Unit #17 Old Ironsides, Waves Nationals. Elaine enjoyed quilting, skiing, dancing and, especially, traveling in the United States with her beloved husband.
Elaine is survived by a son, James Ntapalis and his wife, Andrea of Scottsdale, AZ; a stepson, Frank Robinson of Lowell, MA; three grandchildren, George Ntapalis, Patrick and Daniel Robinson; two sisters, Beverly Ntapalis of Dracut, MA and Dorothy and her husband Walter McGrath of Tewksbury, MA; four brothers, Bernard Kierce of Keene, NH, Richard Kierce of Dracut, MA, Joseph P. Kierce of Lowell, MA, Robert Kierce and his wife Janice of Tyngsboro, MA; a sister-in-law, Sandi Kierce of TN, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was the sister of the late Frank H. Kierce of TN.
At her request there will be no Visiting hours. Funeral Fri. at 9am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 10am at Holy Family Parish in Lowell. I am so sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. We had many fun times at Conferences, Conventions and unit meetings for WAVES National. What a hoot she was! She is missed.
