Gary John Wolti, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Gary was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, to Arne Wolti and Charlotte Lindsay Wolti.
He was the devoted husband to his wife of fifty years, Patricia M. McManus.
He was a proud graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1966, and later attended Berklee School of Music in Boston as a composition major. Gary dedicated many years to his career as a land surveyor before retiring.
Gary was known for being an avid Red Sox fan and lover of all things classic rock, however the one thing he cherished most of all was spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons.
Everyone who knew Gary would say they loved his sense of humor, his kind demeanor, and the way he told the best stories with his deep voice and Boston accent – he could truly make anyone laugh.
Gary was a longtime resident of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, Gary is survived by his daughters Jacy Dawn Valeras and her husband Michael of Nashville, TN, and Holly Malcuit and her husband Paul of Dracut, MA; his sister Deborah Wolti and her husband Andrew Pearson of Myrtle Beach, SC; his adored grandsons Jackson Malcuit and Jase Malcuit; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom and I are so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing and look forward to giving the entire family our condolences on Wednesday. If we are lucky, God gives us a person who believes in us. Someone who gives us encouragement when we need it the most. Someone who reminds us to never give up on our dreams. Gary was that kind of a person, and we’re so grateful that we got the chance to meet him. In Friendship, Candy & Tom
